We have known about this since March this year, but this is yet to roll out to all brand pages. I have noticed that Sportsgirl Facebook page has the new layout so I wanted to bring it to everyones attention again. It’s coming and your brand pages should have this new layout soon.
Please note this layout is for desktop and the majority of users being on mobile won’t be affected by these changes.
If you’re yet to join the waiting list, log into your page and ‘hide’ the admin panel and you should see the below. Click on ‘Join Waitlist‘ and soon enough you’ll have the new look.
The right hand column will display all your posts. This now means that your posts will be nice and consistent and not appear unevenly down the page.
The left hand column shows off information about your business, including a map, business hours. website URL and phone number. This information will only show if you put it in. Also in this column will be pages you have liked, photos, videos, apps and your most recent community posts.
The admin panel has also been updated and is far easier to access. This from Facebook Business page.
No matter where you are on your Page, you can now view information about the ads you’re running and new likes on your Page, as well unread notifications and messages. You can click on any section in the This Week section for more detail. We’ve also added new navigation options to the top of the Page, making it easier to access your activity, insights and settings. The Build Audience menu at the top of the Page offers direct access to your Ads Manager account.
I’m excited for the change.
